As with most bloggers I often get approached by companies to review products. I am very,very picky about those companies who I will actually review and tell the mommas about. Mostly it must be a reputable company with a product that moms can really use. I was delighted when the folks over at picture keeper wanted me to test their product. I am one of those "picture moms" for sure. My family pictures are the most important thing on my computer at any given moment. I appreciated this even more when my old computer got a virus and for one week I thought I had lost my daughter's pictures from age birth to two - y'all know those are some precious years!!
The picture keeper is essentially a USB drive with built-in software that does all the work for you. It quickly and easily searches for and backs up your photos on your computer (both PC and Mac). You stick it in the computer and within 10 minutes I had 4900 pictures downloaded to keep forever. I love that it keeps them in the same order you had them and that you don't have to do anything. I took the picture keeper and put it in our fire box with all of our important papers. I love having them all in one safe place. I also think this would also make a great gift for a new Mom or Dad.
